Light snow showers will move through the area on Thursday. Some snow showers may limit visibility and put down a half to one inch of snow.
Thursday will also be very cold and windy. Wind gusts to gust to 40mph are possible. A wind advisory may be issued later tonight or Thursday morning for the high winds forecast. Highs for Thursday will only be in the low 20s and the lows will be in the single digits. With the wind, the wind chill may be as low as 5 degrees below zero.
We are watching a winter storm beginning late Friday night and lasting through Saturday morning. It will start off as snow and changeover to sleet, freezing rain and eventually end as rain showers Saturday morning.
