Bethlehem Township Police Department and the City of Bethlehem Police Department were recently honored at a thank you ceremony for the grand opening of the new McDonald’s Restaurant on Nazareth Pike in the Township. Owner-Operator Mr. Robert Hughes presented each department with a check to show his appreciation for local law enforcement. Mr. Hughes owns seven McDonald’s in the Lehigh Valley, which includes the new restaurant on Nazareth Pike and the McDonald’s on Stefko Boulevard in the City. State Senator Lisa Boscola was also on hand to help Mr. Hughes present Bethlehem Township Police Chief Dan Pancoast and Bethlehem Police Commissioner Mark DiLuzio with generous donations toward each department’s Police K-9 unit.
