From your WGOLV Weather guy:

Winter returns overnight tonight with a small snow storm March 9th into Friday Morning March 10th. The main consensus is 2-3 inches of snow being forecast for our Lehigh Valley Region. Higher elevations in the Pocono Mountains could receive 4 inches and locally more. Extra time is going to be required for your morning commute as roads will possibly become covered before the sun starts to melt it in the late morning. Some snow may become heavy at times which may also limit visibility. The snow should begin around 10:00 PM and end around 10:00AM Friday morning. We have included the map from http://epawaweather.com/weather-alerts/ and http://www.weather.gov/phi/winter below for your reference.

The impacts and timing below come from Eastern PA Weather Authority.

Impacts and Timing:
For most areas, the general timing is after midnight to start, ending before noon on Friday in most circumstances. There will be variation to timing on a county by county basis that was sent to My Pocket Meteorologist subscribers earlier this afternoon.

There could be another snow next week. We have more on that below the snow maps for Friday. Right now, for that storm it is hard to tell the track and significance until the storm moves out of the way on Friday. We will have another update on that storm on Sunday.

More information on the storm for next week…

Below is the GFS showing moderate double-digit accumulating snow for our region, again this is far out in range and should be taken with a grain of salt. We are merely just showing what is happening on the model guidance and not making a forecast. Please stay tuned in as we will be updating later this weekend on this snow event that is threatening our area. Remember to change your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday Night.
