Good afternoon Lehigh Valley, we will have a light snow event move through the area on Thursday December 29th. Snow will start in the mid morning hours in the Lehigh Valley and move to the East through the afternoon hours. We are not expecting much, 1-2 inches for the Southern parts of the Lehigh Valley and 2-4 inches for the Northern part of the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountains. A wintry mix to rain is expected along the I-78 corridor with snow changing to rain Thursday morning farther to the South. To the North of I-78, it is looking to stay an all-snow event. Below is a forecast map by Eastern Pa. Weather Authority on their first call forecast.
