Naloxone will be available for free this Thursday to any Pennsylvanian at nearly 80 locations across the state

Stop Overdoses in PA: Get Help Now Week is a statewide initiative to distribute naloxone and get help for residents suffering from the disease of opioid-use disorder.

On Thursday, December 13, naloxone will be available for free to any Pennsylvanian at nearly 80 locations across the state.

“Every Pennsylvania resident has a role to play as a potential first responder. Save a life by having naloxone + using it if you find someone who overdosed. Find a location near youpa.gov/opioids   ”          (Pennsylvania Department of Health)

 

Naloxone is also available at most pharmacies across the state year-round. Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine issued this standing order prescription to any Pennsylvanian to get naloxone for anyone who may need it.
