The Sanctuary at Haafsville, a non profit animal rescue located in the Lehigh Valley accepted donations of cages and crates from the Lehigh Valley community which were sent south to shelter the dogs and cats affected by Hurricane Florence.

This past week, students and instructors from LCCC/NCC Vet Tech program examined and treated the pups from the shelters in North Carolina.  The pups will soon be up for adoption from The Sanctuary at Haafsville.

It’s wonderful to see a community work together.  Through donations, a non profit animal rescue and students and instructors from local community colleges, the animals rescued in North Carolina will now be ready for a home.
