ALLENTOWN, Pa - Governor Josh Shapiro recently announced that Allentown is one of the 7 selected sites for the new PA Sites program, which aims to boost economic development across the Commonwealth.

The 6.5-acre site at 928 American Parkway, formerly part of Lehigh Structural Steel, will allocate $1.1 million to connect utilities, with an additional $6 million investment from the Allentown Economic Development Corp. for a 50,000 to 80,000 square-foot industrial facility.

These investments will revitalize another portion of Allentown's waterfront, creating new jobs and potential tax revenue, and marking a significant step in the city's economic development.
