Lehigh Valley Zoo announces plans for the construction of a new habitat for red pandas

SCHNECKSVILLA, PA - Lehigh Valley Zoo announced plans for the construction of a new habitat for red pandas.

As part of the zoo's master plan, they will be introducing new species.

The first species they plan to introduce are red pandas, which are native to Asia and will be the first of their kind to be introduced from this area.

They look forward to adding new and exciting species to their zoo, some of which have never been seen before.

The zoo plans to focus on species from the Himalayan region as they are temperature hardy and will be able to handle our North American climate year-round.

Lehigh Valley Zoo is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization and relies on the support of our community to grow and prosper.
