ALLENTOWN, Pa. — High winds have impacted our area this afternoon and thousands are without power.
As of 4:45 pm, over 5,600 power outages have been reported in Lehigh County according to PPL, and over 5,100 in Northampton County.
Met-Ed reported several thousand without power in Berks County.
Other areas in our region have also reported power outages, according to PPL.
Over 3,000 in Bucks County and another 3,500 in Monroe County are without power as of 4:45 pm. Over 1,400 in Carbon County and over 2,000 in Schuylkill County are also without power this afternoon.
