19-year-old dies following motorcycle crash in Lehigh Township

LEHIGH TWP., Pa. - A 19-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Lehigh Township over the weekend. 

The coroner's office says Eliam Emanuel Buchanan-Ramos was pronounced dead Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg.

According to the coroner, Buchanan-Ramos was the operator of a motorcycle that was involved in a crash with a vehicle in the 100 block of Riverview Drive/Route 145 around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The cause of death was due to complications of multiple traumatic injuries, according to the coroner, and the manner of death was ruled an accident.

Route 145 was closed for several hours after the crash and reopened later in the evening.
