A Grand Opening Ceremony & Celebration takes place today at Valania Park in Allentown

Today is the grand opening celebration of Valania Park. It begins at 2:30 pm.

A DJ will begin the celebration at 2:30pm, then at 3pm, there will be a 30 minute ceremony, ribbon cutting, and then a community block party with a DJ and free ice cream (and splash pad sprinkles just in time for Memorial Day!)

The park is located on Union Street between William St. and S. 6th St.

Street parking is available in the neighborhood.
