Man seriously injured after being hit by a car in Bethlehem early Tuesday morning

BETHLEHEM, Pa - On April 23, 2024 at 4:10 am, the Bethlehem Police Department received a report of a vehicle that had hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Daly Avenue and Hayes Street, according to a news release.


Upon arrival, officers found a 39-year-old male lying on the westbound lanes of Daly Avenue with serious injuries.



The pedestrian was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital – Fountain Hill for medical treatment, according to the police.


Police say the driver involved in the accident stopped at the scene and is cooperating fully with the police investigation.


Due to the accident investigation, Daly Avenue/ E. 3rd St. was closed for several hours between Hayes St. and Buchanan St.
