A Mega Millions player in Illinois won the $560 million jackpot on Tuesday night, ending a three-month drought.
The winning numbers were 19, 37, 40, 63, 69, and the Mega Ball 17, marking the ninth-largest jackpot in the game's history.
The lucky winner can choose between the $560 million annuity or a one-time cash payout of $264 million.
Mega Millions players have a 1 in 302,575,350 chance of winning the jackpot.
This Tuesday's win was the second time the Mega Millions jackpot has exceeded $500 million since last summer. It was also the first time the grand prize had been won since March 26, when a New Jersey player won a $1.13 billion jackpot - the fifth largest in the game's history.
That life-changing ticket was sold at a ShopRite Liquor store in Neptune Township, which received a $30,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
