Miller-Keystone Blood Center accepting blood donations to help support the needs in Lewiston Maine

BETHLEHEM, Pa -


After the tragic mass shooting that took place in Lewiston, Maine, the National Blood Emergency Readiness Corps (BERC) is on alert for a potential activation to ship blood to the hospitals in and around Lewiston.


In order to meet the needs of trauma patients in that area, Miller-Keystone is also preparing to provide support.


MKBC is accepting blood donations now to bolster supplies and joining with blood collection centers across the country to support Lewiston’s needs during this devastating time.


They are asking anyone who is able, to donate blood as soon as possible. Blood of all types, platelets, and plasma will be needed.
