Police investigate stabbing at Friendship Park in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa - The Bethlehem Police Department responded to the 200 block of E. North Street (area of Friendship Park) for a report of a disturbance with a possible shooting on Saturday evening, May 4 at 10:45 pm.


An investigation found that an adult male suffered several stab wounds during a physical altercation, and underwent emergency treatment at an area hospital, according to police.


Police say that his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, according to the news release. Officers also located evidence of recent gunfire at this location.




No other injuries were reported, according to Bethlehem Police, and no arrests have been made at this time.
