Recycle your pumpkins for wildlife

Halloween is over, but rather than throwing out your pumpkins, there are several natural ways that you can recycle them with wildlife in mind.

One thing you can do is compost your pumpkins - they make a great addition to compost bins or piles. They are 90% water and break down very quickly.

You can make a snack-o-lantern for squirrels and birds. They will love it.

You can share pumpkin seeds with wildlife or plant them for next year. They are very low maintenance.

You can also cut them into pieces for animals.

There are lots of great ways you can recycle your pumpkins!
