Wyomissing Borough Police seek help identifying vehicle involved in attempted thefts

The Wyomissing Borough Police are attempting to identify the attached late-model white Jeep Grand Cherokee involved in two attempted thefts of ATM machines.


Incidents took place on September 8, 2023, and September 12, 2023, at 1:00 am and 3:00 am. The Jeep displayed no registration plate in both incidents. In one case, the suspect(s) broke a window to the business in an attempt to pull the ATM machine from the building, according to police. Anyone with information pertaining to these incidents or who can identify the vehicle is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Alert Berks County.


Cash rewards are available up to $10,000 if the tip leads to an arrest.
