SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Early Monday morning, a crash involving a motorcycle and sedan resulted in one person being seriously injured.
The incident occurred on Route 22 Westbound just past 15th Street in South Whitehall
at mile marker 319.6.
State Police Bethlehem say they received the call for the crash shortly before 12:45 a.m.
Upon investigation, it was determined a 2020, white in color, Toyota Camry and a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle had crashed causing a 28-year-old operator of the motorcycle to be transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest for serious injuries.

The operator and three passengers were in the sedan and were uninjured, according to the report by the PSP.
All traffic during this investigation was detoured onto 15th Street. All lanes westbound were reopened at 4:52 am.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
