15-year-old boy from Allentown dies after being hit by a car Monday night in Whitehall Twp.

ALLENTOWN, Pa - A 15-year-old boy from Allentown was hit and killed Monday evening in Whitehall Township.

Lehigh County Coroner, Daniel Buglio says that Emmanuel Gboyah was struck by a motor vehicle (pedestrian crash) shortly before 8:30 pm at the intersection of MacArthur Road (Route 145) and Mickley Road and pronounced dead at 9:08 PM in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.

An autopsy will be performed at the coroner's office on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 to determine the cause of death.

Route 145 was shut down and traffic was backed up in the area while police investigated.

In addition to the coroner's office, the Whitehall Township Police Department, the Lehigh County Crash Team and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are investigating.
