1½-year-old child struck and killed by a motor vehicle in Upper Milford Township Thursday

UPPER MILFORD TWP., Pa - Update - The child was 1 1/2 years old, according to the Lehigh County Coroner.
Pennsylvania State Police in Fogelsville are investigating the death of a 2 1/2 year old boy who was struck by a motor vehicle on Thursday in Upper Milford Township.
At approximately 4:15 pm, troopers were dispatched to the 5300 block of Bachman Road for the report of a child who was struck by a motor vehicle, according to officials.

According to a press release from Trooper Nathan Branosky, troopers attempted life-saving measures on the child upon arrival. The child was then transported from the scene by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced deceased by the Lehigh County Coroner.
This incident remains under investigation by the PSP Fogelsville Criminal Investigation Unit.
