The Hatfield Police Department Highway Safety Unit is investigating a fatal vehicle crash that took place at approximately 8:36 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in the 3500 block of Bethlehem Pike., near Township Line Rd, in Hatfield Township.
According to the press release, the crash involved a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 21-year-old Sellersville resident, and a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, operated by a 66-year-old Souderton resident.
The operator of the motorcycle was airlifted to a trauma center where they tragically succumbed to their injuries.
