22-year-old Allentown man charged with possession of narcotics and firearms during traffic stop

ALLENTOWN, Pa - On Saturday, February 3, 2024, at approximately 4:00 pm, a vehicle was stopped for motor vehicle code violations in the 500 block of Allen Street, according to Allentown Police.


During the vehicle stop, the driver was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and marijuana as well as numerous firearms.



As a result of the investigation, Julius Alfredo Aguilar, age 22, of North Halstead Street, Allentown was charged with the following offenses:


• Possession With Intent to Deliver

• Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License

• Simple Possession

• Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana

• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

• Summary Vehicle Code Violations


A total of seven firearms were recovered during this investigation.


As in every criminal case, the fact that a warrant has been issued or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation.


The defendant in this case is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
