62-year-old man dies following motor vehicle crash with LANTA bus Monday

ALLENTOWN, Pa - A 62-year-old man died Monday morning following a crash with a LANTA bus, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.
John Doe was pronounced dead at 8:41 am in the Emergency Department of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
According to the coroner, he was operating a motor vehicle involved in a collision with a Lanta Bus.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:50 am in the area of West Tilghman
Street and North Ott Street in Allentown.
The man has been identified, and his family has been notitifed, but his name is being withheld out of respect for the family and until the autopsy is completed.
An autopsy is scheduled at the LCCO&FC for Tuesday, August 19, 2025, to determine the cause of death.
The Coroner's Office, the Allentown Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit, and the Lehigh
County District Attorney's Office is investigating.
