84-year-old woman killed in Lynn Twp. accident identified

LYNN TWP., Pa. - The Lehigh County Coroner has released the name of the woman killed in a crash in Lynn Township on Thursday, April 11. 


According to the coroner's report, 84-year-old Helen R. Werley of Weisenberg Township was pronounced dead on the scene at the Intersection of Schochary Road and Kistler Valley Road in Lynn Township at 4:45 pm.




Ms. Werley was the operator of a motor vehicle that struck another motor vehicle, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.


The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries due to motor vehicle crash and the manner of death was ruled accidental, according to Buglio.


The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 pm.


In addition to the coroner's office, the Pennsylvania State Police, Fogelsville Station, and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are also investigating.
