A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect overnight for East-Central, Northeast, and Southeast Pennsylvania

A dense fog advisory is in effect for portions of east central, northeast and southeast Pennsylvania from 11:00 pm to 10:00 am on Tuesday.


Hazardous driving conditions are expected due to low visibility.


Visibility of one-quarter mile or less is expected with dense fog, according to the National Weather Service.


Fog is forecast to be widespread overnight.

BE PREPARED:


If you're traveling overnight into Tuesday morning, give yourself some extra time to reach your destination, slow down and use particular caution near intersections & anywhere there may be pedestrians.


Use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Periods of rain are also expected to develop Tuesday night into Wednesday with minor flooding of creeks, streams, and tidal areas possible Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service .
