A two-alarm fire in Catasauqua has left two families homeless

CATASAUQUA, Pa. - A two-alarm fire in a Catasauqua apartment building Sunday has left two families homeless.


Catasauqua and Northampton County fire departments were called to the 700 block of Third Street around 11:27 a.m. Sunday, according to WFMZ News.


The building contains two apartments.

One resident was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.


The Catasauqua Borough fire inspector Ray Anthony is on the scene and investigating, and says the building is inhabitable., according to the news report.
