According to the National Weather Service, a wind advisory in effect for the following locations starting from 10 am this morning until 5 pm EST this afternoon.


Sussex-Warren-Morris-Hunterdon-Carbon-Monroe-Berks-Lehigh- Northampton-Western Chester-Eastern Chester-Western Montgomery- Upper Bucks- Including the cities of Newton, Washington, Morristown, Flemington, Jim Thorpe, Stroudsburg, Reading, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Honey Brook, Oxford, West Chester, Kennett Square, Collegeville, Pottstown, Chalfont, and Perkasie



* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. * WHERE...Northwest New Jersey and portions of southeastern Pennsylvania north and west of the Interstate 95 corridor. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 5 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An abrupt wind shift and wind speed is expected late this morning and may be accompanied by snow showers. Winds will remain elevated for up to 6 hours behind the initial wind shift. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
