Allentown Fire Department unveils state-of-the-art Fire Academy and Emergency Operations Center

The Allentown Fire Department unveiled a state-of-the-art Fire Academy and the city's first-ever Emergency Operations Center yesterday morning.

Equipped to train not only our local heroes but also firefighters from neighboring regions, this cutting-edge facility marks a milestone for the City of Allentown.

With room for up to 100 attendees, advanced classrooms, and storage for vital equipment, it's a hub of hands-on learning.

Beyond training, this center plays a pivotal role as Allentown's inaugural Emergency Operations Center to handle disaster management and coordinate quick response during crises.
