An Irish flag raising took place in Allentown to kick off St. Patrick's Day Weekend Festivities

Allentown kicked off its 2023 St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities with an Irish flag raising ceremony in front of City Hall earlier today.


The event honored the holiday and contributed to the Irish community here in the Lehigh Valley. In addition to the flag raising, children from the O’Grady Quinlan Dance Academy performed in front of the crowd, along with the singing of Ireland's national anthem, and the raising of the Irish flag itself.
