BETHLEHEM, Pa - Bethlehem Police Department announced the retirement of K9 Rico on Wednesday.
Rico, a Dutch Shepherd, has faithfully served the citizens of Bethlehem for the past seven years as a patrol and narcotics detection K9.
On Tuesday evening, City Council unanimously voted to approve a resolution to officially retire Rico and allow him to spend retirement with his handler, Off. Steidel.
