Body found along Delaware River in Upper Mount Bethel Township last month identified

UPPER MOUNT BETHEL TWP, Pa - A 36-year-old man has been identified as the man who was discovered along the Delaware River last month.
According to a statement from Northampton County Coroner Zachary R. Lysek issued on Monday afternoon, the body of 36-year-old James William Martello was found along the Delaware River in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, on May 25, 2025.
Troopers from PSP Belfast were dispatched to the Delaware River in the area of Slateford Road following the discovery of the man's body around 12:30 p.m., according to officials
Martello's last known addresses were Pottsville and Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania.
The cause and manner of Martello's death are pending investigation, Lysek said.
