Classics and Cruisers coming to Downtown Allentown this Sunday

ALLENTOWN, Pa - Classics and Cruisers on Hamilton is back this Sunday, August 10, for another exciting year, bringing the energy and nostalgia of Allentown’s iconic 1970s–80s cruising scene to life.


Hundreds of classic cars will be showcased, including antique, classic, muscle, and modern muscle cars.


Cars will be on display throughout the downtown area on Hamilton Street.


Participants can enjoy an open house at the America on Wheels Museum and RB Collection on North Front Street.


At the end of the event, attendees can participate in a police-escorted cruise through the city to the Ritz on North 17th. Street.


This free, family-friendly event will also feature food, music, raffles, and a highly anticipated awards ceremony with over 85 trophies, both judged and specialty as well as a Best in Show award. Judging will be done by the Allentown Area Corvette Club.


All proceeds benefit the Allentown Police Department Honor Guard and the America on Wheels Museum.

8:00–11:00 AM: Registration & staging at America on Wheels; open house at America on Wheels and RB Collection

9:30–11:00 AM: Police-escorted cruise to downtown car show area

12:00 PM: Opening ceremony with Allentown Police Honor Guard, National Anthem, 50/50 & raffle ticket sales begin

3:00 PM: Raffle ticket sales close

4:30–5:00 PM: Awards ceremony & 50/50 drawing

5:00 PM: Police-escorted cruise to The Ritz (17th & Chew)
