Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of this boy.

LEHIGHTON, Pa. - The Carbon County coroner says a 17-year boy from Bethlehem died after being pulled from the waters of Lake Harmony.

Kidder Township police say the boy had been working construction in the area and jumped in the lake after work to cool off.

Rescue crews were called to the scene Thursday evening. Crews pulled him from the lake, performed CPR on him, and rushed him to St. Luke's Hospital-Carbon Campus, where Carbon County Coroner Bob Miller said he died.
