Coroner releases names of woman, teen in Catasauqua Double Homicide


The names of the woman and teen in the Catasauqua double homicide have been released. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones. The investigation remains ongoing.


UPDATE:

The deceased victims have been identified as 39-Year-Old Rosalyn Siobal Glass and 16-Year-Old Rianna Lynn Glass.



North Catasauqua Borough, Northampton County – The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop M Major Case Team, in cooperation with the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office, is investigating a double homicide that occurred at 1106 Railroad Street, North Catasauqua Borough, Northampton County.


On Thursday, September 14, 2023, at approximately 11:22 am, officers from the North Catasauqua Borough Police Department were dispatched to 1106 Railroad Street. Upon arrival, they were met by distraught extended family members who had discovered both a 39-Year-Old Female and a 16-Year-Old Female deceased in the residence.


Upon consultation with the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office, it was determined the Pennsylvania State Police would lead the investigation.


The Northampton County Coroner, Zachary Lysek, pronounced the 39-Year-Old victim deceased at 1:11 pm and the 16-Year-Old victim deceased at 1:12 pm, with the cause of death ruled sharp force injuries and the manner of death ruled homicide.


This investigation remains on going and will be updated as information can be provided.
