Crash leads to diesel spill in Whitehall

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. -- Crews have been working on cleaning up a reported diesel fuel in Whitehall Township after a tanker trunk and SUV collided Monday morning.

The oil trunk and SUV crashed around 10 am on Third Street between Park and Cherry Aly just off Route 22.

Crews blocked off storm drains in the area, and the road was closed while Lehigh County's hazmat team responded.

Authorities have not said how much fuel spilled or what led to the crash.
