A large brush fire has multiple crews responding after a fire broke out Wednesday afternoon, according to WFMZ news. Multiple crews are responding to the fire. Smoke could be seen coming from the wooded area in Glen Summit section of Fairview Township.
According to the news report by WFMZ, ,there were no reports of injuries or of any homes being threatened by the fire.
Pennsylvania still remains under an elevated risk of wildfire. A Red Flag warning was issued yesterday by the National Weather Service.
