YORK, Pa - York City Fire officials are asking the public to stay out of the area as a fire rages in a warehouse located in the 400 block of S Albemarle Street in York, PA.
According to Ted Czech with York County Emergency Management Services, the fire was dispatched at 6:37 p.m.
The fire is currently at a 6th alarm with all City Units and many mutual aid until from across the county and region, according to Union Fire Company No. - Manchester PA.
FOX43 reported that the building partially collapsed.
Neighbors in the area say it's a large abandoned warehouse and looked to be filled with wooden pallets and other items.

Smoke from the blaze could be seen from miles away along Interstate 83.
Flames could also be seen shooting high above the building.
According to York County Emergency Dispatch, at least one firefighter was injured while fighting the blaze and was transported to WellSpan York Hospital. (see photo below)
Sources say a boil water advisory will most likely go into effect.

According to Mike Nester of Nester Video Productions, two tankers were involved in a serious crash during the process of running a tanker shuttle.
