LEHIGH TWP. Pa. - Firefighters are fighting a fast-moving brush fire on Blue Mountain in Lehigh Township.
First responders were first called just before 2 p.m. on Saturday.
One person said they could see the fire all the way from Bethlehem.
According to emergency dispatchers, the fire is burning on the Appalachian trail.

According to a Facebook post by the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company, they have utilized various resources to combat the mountain fire.
Emergency officials say several helicopters were brought in to help battle the flames, and smoke could be seen from miles away. - The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources had two air tankers doing water drops on the fire, according to dispatchers.
Helicopters from Gettysburg arrived to assist at around 4 pm.
Fire police closed down roads as the brush fire spread, including Route 248 between Route 946 and Route 145.
The fire is 8 acres and growing per fire command.
Northampton County Communications says no injuries or damage to any structures have been reported.
Firefighters will resume the attack at sunrise Sunday, according to emergency dispatchers.
There is still no word on what may have caused the fire.
