Easton Police investigate hit and run accident which left a 71-year-old man in critical condition

EASTON, PA Easton Police are investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident involving a 71-year-old pedestrian which left him in critical condition.

Police responded to the area of South 4th and Washington Streets on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 7:18 am.

Upon arrival, police found a 71-year-old male suffering from serious injuries.

The man was taken to an area hospital and is currently in critical condition as of Friday, police say.

It is believed a black Nissan Altima was the vehicle that struck the pedestrian and traveled west on Washington Street after the accident, according to police.
