Emergency officials called to the scene of a serious crash involving two vehicles in Penn Twp.

PENN TWP., Pa. — A serious crash involving two vehicles was reported Sunday afternoon in Penn Township, Berks County.


According to Berks County dispatchers, the crash happened near the intersection of Route 183 and Mount Pleasant Road.


Photos show two vehicles with serious damage, apparently from head-on impacts, according to WFMZ News


WFMZ reported that a freelancer said three people were transported to area hospitals, but this has not been confirmed.


The Berks County Coroner's Office is aware of the crash, but not called to the scene, according to WFMZ.
