Expect an increase in pedestrian traffic and road closures for this weekend's Bethlehem Running Fest

Bethlehem police are reminding the community that there will be an increase in pedestrian traffic as well as road closures for this weekend's Bethlehem Running Fest.

Community members are encouraged to avoid areas affected by the fest or delay travel, if possible, and use extreme caution when traveling through the area. There will be a significant increase in vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic.

The festival begins with 5K & 10K runs today and a half marathon tomorrow (Sunday, October 22nd).

Officers will be stationed throughout the course to ensure the safety of all those involved.
