One person died after a two-vehicle crash in Emmaus

EMMAUS, Pa -


UPDATE:


According to the Lehigh County Coroner and WFMZ News, one person is confirmed to have died today in the accident on South Cedar Crest Boulevard and North Street in Emmaus.


The crash took place shortly before 2:30 p.m. Two vehicles were involved, according to a report by WFMZ News.


The intersection remains closed at this time while Emmaus Police and accident reconstruction crews remain on the scene.


Emmaus High School officials have confirmed that several students were involved in the crash. According to a WGOLV community reporter, a memo was also sent out to parents.


There is no word on what caused the crash.



Dispatchers at Newsorking have reported a fatal crash on Emmaus/Crest Boulevard and North Street with multiple people injured and CPR in progress


A Coroner has been requested to the scene.
