According to the National Weather Service, as of 9:45 pm, we have seen gradual improvement in air quality across the area with most locations now at Orange to Red levels. However, at these levels, it can still be unhealthy to be outside for extended periods, particularly for at-risk groups.
Improvement may plateau overnight before continuing to slowly improve on Friday. Continue to head to http://airnow.gov for the latest information.
