Historic Glasbern Inn is sold to Jaindl Companies

FOGELSVILLE, Pa - The historic Glasbern Inn, the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway, and corporate retreat in Fogelsville, PA has been sold to Jaindl Companies.

Glasbern Hospitality LLC and Glasbern Real Estate LLC are now part of the Jaindl Companies owned by David Jaindl.

Jaindl recently purchased the property from long-time owner Al Granger, who acquired the original 16-acre farm in 1985 and continually expanded it to become the renowned destination it is today.

The 100-acre historic resort includes luxurious lodging, a full-service event center, fine dining, a private spa and fitness center, walking trails, and a heated outdoor pool.

The property is registered as a Historic Hotel of America.

 “I have been planning to retire for some time now,” said Granger, “and after careful consideration, I feel that David Jaindl and his company are the right fit to take Glasbern into its next chapter. They understand what we have established here, and I am confident they will help our mission continue to flourish.

“We feel that Glasbern is a perfect fit for the Jaindl Companies portfolio,” said David Jaindl. “Al Granger and his team have done an outstanding job with the property over the years, updating it to meet modern needs while always maintaining the integrity and beauty of both the land and the structures that make up the resort.
