Humane Pennsylvania is waving adoption fees this week in celebration of National Change a Pet's Life Day

In celebration of National Change a Pet's Life Day this week, Humane Pennsylvania is waving pet adoption fees through Saturday at their shelters in both Lancaster and Berks County.

The shelter has lots of animals to choose from that need a good and loving home.



According to ASPCA, "approximately 6.3 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year." From that number, "approximately 920,000 shelter animals are euthanized".

Humane Pennsylvania has around 3,000 animals that currently need new homes.


While Humane Pennsylvania has many types of dogs and cats, they also have rabbits and guinea pigs.


The following are a few of the pets currently in need of a new home.


 


This is 10-month-old Oakley.


She is a spayed female Blue Heeler Mix.


Oakley is looking for a home with older owners, above 16 years old.

She has lots of energy to give!

This is 6-month-old Sgt. Meow.

Sgt. Meow is Brown Tabby Male.


He is very playful, and has the cutest pink nose and eyes.


He has previously lived with cats and done wonderful.

This is 1-year-old Maxima.


She is an energetic female rabbit.


Maxima is loving and is looking for a home where she can freely roam and explore.


She has lots of energy to share.
