Juvenile shot in Allentown Thursday afternoon, police investigating

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Police are investigating a shooting that took place in the area of N. Nagle and Allen St in Allentown shortly after 3:30 p.m.Thursday, according to a news release from the

Allentown Police Department.


Police say upon arrival officers found a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Aid was rendered to the male on the scene and he was subsequently transported to a local hospital, according to the news release.


His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time, according to the police.


Police say the investigation is ongoing.
