Light dusting of snow in the Lehigh Valley possible with higher amounts in the Poconos

According to the latest update from the National Weather Service, some wet snowflakes may mix in as far southeast as I-95, right as the rain ends Monday morning.


According to the NWS, a light dusting may be found between Reading and Allentown, with 2-3" up in the Poconos, otherwise, no accumulation is expected farther south and east.


A winter weather advisory is in effect from midnight tonight until noon on Monday for Carbon and Monroe County


Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected across the Pocono Plateau, with locally higher amounts, according to the National Weather Service with up to 5 inches possible above 1,800 feet elevation.


Winds are expected to gust as high as 45 mph.
