On Saturday, August 26, 2023, the Lower Saucon Township Police Department responded to a theft report in which the victim reported that cash and credit cards were stolen from his wallet. He reported that the wallet was left in his parked vehicle at Reading Drive Trail Head, while he was out for a run between the hours of 12:22 pm and 1:11 pm.
The victim’s credit cards were subsequently used to make unauthorized purchases at both the Apple Store and Macy’s at the Lehigh Valley Mall. Purchases totaled over $4000.00. Surveillance video obtained from Macy’s shows the two suspected suspects.
