BETHLEHEM, Pa. — According to WFMZ News, a water main break closed one block of a residential street in Bethlehem on Saturday afternoon.
According to Northampton County dispatchers, crews were called to the 1300 block of Dalehurst Drive at 3 p.m. The break is a "pretty big break," dispatchers said.
Dispatchers say a man fell through a hole created by the break, but he has since been extricated and not injured.
Bethlehem Firefighters IAFF Local 735, were able to make a quick rescue of the man man who fell into a sinkhole, according to their Facebook post.
According to 69 News, a boil water advisory is in effect for the area, according to a freelancer, but officials have not yet confirmed this information.
The 1200 to 1300 block of Dalehurst Drive remains closed as of 5 p.m. Saturday, according to WFMZ.
