McCarthy's Red Stag Pub reopens in Downtown Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa - After closing two weeks ago due to a fire, McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar in Downtown Bethlehem has reopened.

A small utility room fire on Feb 3 caused damage to the building.

According to a post on their Facebook page, the pub reopened at 4 p.m. Monday with a “limited menu” (see below).

Initially, their hours are Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. They ask that everyone have patience this week as they work out the kinks. They suggested calling ahead if you have any questions.

Although the restaurant’s main kitchen is temporarily closed, they still have some great dishes. They are also debuting new fries.

Currently, they do not have breakfast, but they plan on having it back as soon as possible.

They also said that the pub is a bit chillier than normal due to the heating system not being quite 100% yet, and suggested dressing a little bit warmer.
